Oasis
Oasis is probably the biggest UK band to appear in the 90's. Not only did they lead the Britpop movement, but their sound capture the essence of everything in rock music up to their time. Sounds pretty cool, huh?
The Gallagher brothers shared vocal duties, each one adding his unique style. To me their best albums are their first three, with their first one being the fastest selling debut album in the UK. Too bad the band has broken up.
My top 5 songs:
-Supersonic
-Live Forever
-Don't Look Back in Anger
-The Masterplan
-The Importance of Being Idle

ReplyDeletePretty cool dude. I remember when Oasis were a massive thing. They need more attention nowadays.
ReplyDeleteHow can wonderwall not be on your list?
ReplyDeleteSupersonic is pretty nice.
ReplyDeleteTo answer MArk, Adam, and those of you who may wonder:
ReplyDeleteI can't stand Wonderwall anymore! It's been overplayed to its death. I understand why Liam didn't want to sing it anymore.
I haven't listened to Oasis in a minute man haha.
ReplyDeleteI downloaded their discography a while back, but i just couldn't get into it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not really an Oasis fan. Their not really my style, but I've heard a few of their song I really liked.
ReplyDeleteBeen a fan of Oasis for several years. I've always found it odd how they turned out to be a sort of one-hit wonder group in the US. Very baffling indeed.
ReplyDeletehuge oasis fan. love almost everything the band releases. one of my favourite songs is morning glory.
ReplyDeleteWHO COULD FORGET WONDERWALL
ReplyDeleteThey spawned my favourite band in high school - the arcic monkeys. I never caught on to Oasis too much, but I do like their top 5 or 10 songs. Great band overall.
ReplyDeleteI love oasis, such a great band, following!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard much from Oasis but my friend recommend me listening to (What's the story) Morning Glory so I'm going to check that out :D

ReplyDeleteOasis are rubbish. Blur did so much more and are so much better.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy Oasis. Good song picks. They're in my playlist.
ReplyDeleteOasis songs are great for karaoke.
ReplyDeleteSupersonic is a nice song! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm named after Liam :D
ReplyDeleteOasis are awesome, great music. I remember seeing a DVD of one of their live shows where Liam was too drunk to pronounce the lyrics to some of the songs, and he basically just sung gibberish lol
